Urdu nazm shayari on living during CoronaVirus times with English translation

corona yaar, jaane de [ Corona dear, let go ] kahaN tak, aur jaaN le ga [ how far will you go taking life (lives) ] hamari zindagani ka---tu kesa imtehaaN le ga [ how far will you test our (ways of) life ] ye maana, ham samajhte the [ we admit that we thought ] hamari zeest ki raaheN---sada yuN chalti jaayeN gi [ our way of life will go on unabated ] ye maana, na-balad the ham  [ granted, that it surprised us  ] ke aise virus koi---hameN mafluj kar de ga [ (as to) how a virus could suddenly paralyze us ] magar ab, ham ne jaana he [ however, we now know ] museebat ka zamana he [ (that) these are tough times ] hameN ab, aik-jaa hokar [ we need to act in unison ] ise, mil ke, haraana he [ and defeat it (the virus) working together ] nahiN he, faakhta koi [ there is no dove ] jise Shibi bachaaye ga [ that (king) Sbibi will save ] hameN, qurbaaniaN de kar [ we will all need to chip in with sacrifices ] ghamoN ko, baaNtna ho ga [ and care for each other's sufferings ] kaha Tiresias ne ye [ thus spoke Tiresias ] yahaaN se door jaana he [ you (Odysseus) have to go far (in land from sea) ] wahaN, Odysseus ko phir [ and (in the journey of getting) there, Odysseus ] samandar bhool jaana he [ needs to forego the sea (prior skills, habits etc) ] to aa'o dosto, ham ik---neya paimaan karte heN [ so friends, let's make a new promise] kathin rut se guzarne ka---neya samaan karte heN [ let's find new ways to get through these testing times ]

کورونا یار جانے دے کہاں تک اور جاں لے گا ہماری زندگانی کا تو کیسا امتحاں لے گا یہ مانا ہم سمجھتے تھے ہماری زیست کی راہیں سدا یوں چلتی جائیں گی یہ مانا نابلد تھے ہم کہ ایسے وائرس کوئی ہمیں مفلوج کردے گا مگر اب ہم نے جانا ہے مصیبت کا زمانہ ہے ہمیں اب ایکجا ہوکر اسے ملکر ہرانا ہے نہیں ہے فاختہ کوئی جسے شِبی بچائے گا ہمیں قربانیاں دے کر غموں کو بانٹنا ہوگا کہا تیریسیس نے یہ یہاں سے دور جانا ہے وہاں اوڈیسیس کو پھر سمندر بھول جانا ہے تو آوء دوستوں ہم اک نیا پیمان کرتے ہیں کٹھن رت سے گزرنے کا نیا سامان کرتے ہیں ( مامون مبشر )
