Urdu Poetry with English Translation

waqt ki bhatti, jism ka indhan, josh-e-janun ka angaara

[ burning (his) body through the furnace of time, fired with passion ]

prem ki gathri, peeth pe lade, chal nikle ga banjaara

[ the nomad takes off, with (nothing but) love on his back ]

shoq ka bandhan, aas ki aahat, r'sta bhi ye, manzil bhi

[ driven by the hopeful desire, the journey is also (his) destination ]

kahan chala tha, kahan ruka he, kahan base ga banjaara?

[ where he started, where he stops, and where will the Nomad settle? ]

بنجارہ

وقت کی بھٹّی، جسم کا ایندھن، جوش ِ جنوں کا انگارہ

پریم کی گٹھری، پیٹھ پہ لادے، چل نکلے گا بنجارہ

شوق کا بندھن، آس کی آہٹ، رستہ بھی یہ، منزل بھی

کہاں چلا تھا، کہاں رکا ہے، کہاں بسے گا بنجارہ ؟
